In the context of digital transformation Vos Logistics is running many strong IT related business projects within a constantly changing environment. For these projects we are looking for an eager, experienced business projectmanager that has strong affinity with transport, logistics and IT.

The business projectmanager is responsible for managing our business critical integration projects. Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Define clear business cases together with business managers;
  • Define and manage an ironclad scope;
  • Define plan and planning and re-plan during the project;
  • Implement phasing to mitigate risk and to define explicit GO/NO GO decisions;
  • Manage the project with all important project controls (time, costs, quality, risk);
  • Liaise with the team members as well as the other stakeholders;
  • Evaluate and close projects and make sure that valuable project experience is secured to be used in subsequent projects.

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Masters preferred; 
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, both spoken and written;
  • People management skills to create a coherent project team;
  • The ability to operate within a complex environment;
  • Eagerness and focus to deliver the project according to scope and plan;
  • Identify and tackle potential risks;
  • Timely fulfilling information needs of stake holders;
  • You are structured in your approach;
  • A disciplined stakeholder management approach;
  • Conceptual knowledge of the Information Technology domain.
